A long-time resident of Portland, Oregon,Tom served as Executive Director of Ronald McDonald House Charities® of Oregon and Southwest Washington [RMHC®]) for 15 years. In the spring of 2014, he sold his home and set out on a journey through America. Forty-eight blogs and 26,000 miles later, he’s now working on a book about the trip – and serving as a consultant to not-for-profit organizations.
Growing up, Tom was referred to as “The Golden Boy” because he wanted things to be done perfectly. His own internal transformation taught him that perfection is an underlying truth always waiting for recognition.
Throughout his early career, Tom pursued intellectually-driven leadership. Yet, despite continued success as a renowned executive and a close knit family, he still felt there was a more meaningful way of life out there for him. Tom’s explorations led him to Mystery School in the midst of an RV, cross-country road trip determined to find what the God of human experiences means to people. Through these journeys, Tom met the God of human experiences inside his own heart and life.
