Deborah, our Spiritual Director, often says:

with the embodied realization
that I have a choice… and my choice
determines how I form the next moment of my life.”
Spiritual awakening is an in-the-body progression. It’s moments of wakefulness strung together like mala beads on the thread of my tended awareness. It’s a progression capable of altering the arc of my untended life as slowly I wake up in the revelation that I am not what I have dreamed myself to be. Instead, I am that.. and far, far more. I am the Great Mystery unfolding. And, I am participating in its arrival and receding.
